A small Christmas tree with a surprisingly satisfying job.

The Christmas Tree Magnetic Pad Keyring is a festive, pocket-sized version of our much-loved magnetic pad tools. Tiny steel beads sit inside the Christmas tree-shaped pad and can be lifted with the attached magnetic stylus, then pressed back down with your fingers to reset and repeat.

Clip it onto a bag, pencil case or keys and you’ve got a compact little sensory tool that also happens to make a genuinely great Christmas gift.

Lift. Press. Repeat.

• Lift: use the magnetic stylus to bring the tiny steel beads to the surface.
• Press: push the beads back down with your fingers for tactile pop-like feedback.
• Draw: move the stylus across the pad to make simple shapes and patterns.
• Take it anywhere: the keyring format makes it easy to clip onto bags, pencil cases or keys.

Why people love these

The repetitive lift-and-press action gives a mix of tactile feedback, small hand movement and visual input. Some people find the sensation a little like popping bubble wrap, just in a much more portable form.

The attached stylus also encourages fine motor use and a pencil-style grip, while the compact size makes it easy to keep nearby for travel, school, home or on-the-go use.

Helpful to know

This is not a silent sensory tool. The movement of the beads creates some audible feedback, which is part of the experience.

The stylus is attached by cord so it stays with the keyring rather than wandering off into the mysterious dimension where small accessories apparently go to live.

Materials

ABS, iron, carbon steel and ferrite magnet.

Safety

Suitable for ages 3+. Choking hazard. Unsuitable for children under 3 years. Use with adult supervision.

The stylus contains a small magnet. Swallowing magnets can cause serious injury. Seek immediate medical attention if a magnet is swallowed or inhaled.
